Operating Instructions & Safety Rules

Please see each inflatable for its specific safety rules. These are typically posted near the entrance of the unit.

General Safety Rules
1. Each inflatable must have at least one adult (18 years or older) supervising at all times.
2. Slides and obstacle courses should have two adults supervising — one at the entrance and one at the exit.
3. The inflatable should never be left unattended while in use.
4. No gum, candy, food, drinks, animals, Silly String, or sharp objects are allowed in or around the inflatable.
5. Jewelry and glasses should be removed before entering the inflatable.
6. Shoes are not permitted on the inflatable. Riders must be barefoot or wearing socks.
7. Riders should never jump or enter the inflatable while it is partially inflated.
8. Riders must stay away from the blower at all times. Riders should not run behind the unit where the blower and extension cords are located.
9. Any rider not following the safety rules should be removed from the inflatable.
10. During the event, periodically check the securing devices to make sure the unit remains secure.
11. Inflatables set up on hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt should be monitored closely to prevent movement.

Weather Safety
1. The inflatable should be turned off during high winds or storms.
2. If winds reach approximately 20–25 mph, the inflatable should be shut down.
3. If bad weather occurs, clear the inflatable before turning off the blower.

To shut off the blower:
1. Turn the switch on the blower to the OFF position.
2. Unplug the blower from the electrical outlet.

If the Inflatable Begins to Deflate
1. Have all riders exit the inflatable immediately.
2. Check whether the blower motor has stopped.
3. Make sure the power cord has not been unplugged or tampered with.
4. Check the circuit breaker if necessary.
5. If the blower is still running, check that the air intake screen is not blocked.
6. Check the air tubes on the back of the unit and tighten the ties if needed.
7. If the problem cannot be corrected, call our office at 727-385-3025.
8. Do not allow riders to re-enter the inflatable until it has fully reinflated.

Bounce House Rules
1. Riders should be grouped by similar age and size.

13' x 13' Bounce Houses
Maximum capacity: 8 children
1. Children up to age 6: up to 8 riders
2. Ages 7–11: 5–7 riders
3. Ages 12 and older: 3–4 riders

15' x 15' Bounce Houses
Maximum capacity: 10 children
1. Children up to age 6: up to 10 riders
2. Ages 7–11: 7–9 riders
3. Ages 12 and older: 5–7 riders

Additional rules:
1. Do not allow riders to climb on the walls, sides, or roof of the inflatable.
2. Do not allow riders to hang on netting or columns.
3. Do not allow riders to sit or lie down while others are jumping.
4. No horseplay, flips, somersaults, wrestling, diving, or roughhousing.
5. Do not spray water on the inflatable.
6. If the inflatable becomes wet, an adult should wipe it dry before riders re-enter.

Slides and Obstacle Courses
1. Riders must slide feet first, one at a time.
2. The next rider must wait until the previous rider has exited the slide.
3. When climbing the slide, no one should stand underneath the climber.
4. Do not allow riders to climb on the walls, sides, or roof of the inflatable.
5. Do not allow riders to sit or lie down while others are sliding.
6. No horseplay, flips, wrestling, or unsafe activities in or around the unit.

Bungee Run
1. Vests must be tightened before running.
2. Participants should not use the unit if they have back problems or other medical conditions that could be aggravated.

Joust
1. Only two participants at a time.
2. Participants must wear helmets.
3. Participants should not participate if they have back injuries or medical conditions that could be aggravated.

Emergency Procedures
1. If the inflatable begins to deflate while riders are inside, stay calm and assist riders out immediately.
2. Most inflatables take 30–45 seconds to fully deflate.
3. If someone remains inside during deflation, all units have two emergency exit flaps located on the top of the inflatable to allow safe exit.
4. If deflation occurs unexpectedly, check whether the blower was unplugged.
5. Check whether the blower switch was turned off.
6. Check whether power to the outlet was interrupted.
7. Once power is restored, the inflatable will begin to reinflate.Operating Instructions & Safety Rules
